Motorcyclist Killed In Long Island Crash A motorcyclist was killed in an afternoon crash at a busy Long Island intersection. It happened  Sunday, Feb. 23 at about 3 p.m. in Center Moriches. Jason Frederick, 44, of Selden, was driving a 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on Montauk Highway, just east of the intersection of Belleview Avenue, when the motorcycle veered off the roadway and Frederick struck the guardrail, Suffolk County Police said. One LI Man Killed, Another Seriously Injured After Motorcycle Crashes Into Pedestrians One man was killed and another seriously injured when a motorcycle crashed into two pedestrians on Long Island. It happened on Friday, Dec. 27 at 6:45 p.m. in Massapequa. According to Nassau County Police detectives, two pedestrians were attempting to cross Merrick Road southbound just east of Glen Road when they were struck by a 2018 Yamaha motorcycle, which was traveling westbound.  One pedestrian, a 67-year-old man, suffered multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.  The other pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and is listed in fair condition…
