Duo Nabbed For String Of Suffolk County ATM Burglaries
Two men have been accused of burglarizing multiple businesses and stealing ATMs on Long Island.
Following an investigation by Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives, the two were arrested and charged with a series of commercial burglaries and an attempted burglary between Tuesday, March 5, and Monday, March 11.
During the burglaries, police say, John Mahoney, 41, of Mastic, and Jamie Volini, age 46, of East Patchogue, forced entry through broken doors and windows into closed gas stations and businesses and damaged or stole the ATMs.

Two Long Island store clerks were charged with selling alcohol to minors.
Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime officers conducted an undercover alcohol operation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.
Police said the two locations where alcohol was sold to undercover agents were:
BP Gas, 1460 Veterans Memorial Highway, Islandia. The clerk, Bensaiah Haithem, 30, of Holbrook, was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.

Long Island Father, Son Arrested For Graffiti Spree, Police Say
A father and son have been charged for multiple incidents of making graffiti.
All the incidents occurred in Bay Shore, Suffolk County Police said,
While investigating an unrelated case, three Third Squad detectives observed Thomas Shane and Thomas Shane Jr. spray paint locations on 5th Avenue, near 4th Avenue, at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Further investigation by Third Precinct Crime Section officers determined the pair had been in the area for approximately 90 minutes, spray painting multiple businesses, police said.
