Authorities and family members of a missing Long Island teen are imploring the community for help.
Shivani McShane, age 14, was last seen in Dix Hills on Saturday, May 18, according to the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse.
She was spotted wearing a black sweater, black sweatpants, and white sneakers.
In a Facebook post, Devin Trapp wrote that Sivrani, her sister, was at the Madonna Heights School (located at 151 Burrs Lane) before she went missing.
“She has no phone, no means of contacting anyone, and no money,” Trapp wrote. “We are very worried about her.”

Long Island Man Has Been Missing For Nearly 3 Months, Family Says
Police are now involved in the disappearance of a Long Island man who has been missing for nearly three months.
Walter Antonio Portillo Rivera, age 28, of Huntington Station, was reported missing on Monday, Jan. 29, according to Suffolk County Police.
A relative told detectives that Rivera hasn’t been seen or heard from since Nov. 6, 2023.
He does not have a cell phone, any known friends, or social media accounts, police said.
He also does not have a job or any credit cards that could be traced, and he left his passport at home.

Have You Seen Him? Alert Issued For Long Island Man Missing For 2 Days
Police are asking for help in locating a Long Island man who has been missing for two days.
James Thomas Lee, age 82, of North Sea, was last seen on North Sea Road Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 25, according to Southampton Town Police.
Lee has Alzheimer’s and may be in need of medical attention, police said.
He is described as 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He has a beard, wears glasses, and is known to wear a black baseball hat that says, “Native.”

Alert Issued For Missing Long Island 15-Year-Old
Authorities are asking for help in locating a 15-year-old Long Island boy who has been missing for over 24 hours.
John Gray, of East Hampton, was last seen at around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, on Three Mile Harbor Drive.
East Hampton Town Police said Gray, who has autism, was wearing a dark gray beanie, black jacket or sweatshirt, black pants, and black Nike sneakers. He was possibly carrying two black backpacks.
Investigators determined that the teen was in Manhattan at around 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, and may be using public transportation.

Missing PA Woman May Be On Long Island, Police Say
A woman missing from Pennsylvania, who may be in need of medical attention, could be on Long Island, police said.
Kristin Lynn Nilsen, age 67, was last seen driving in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at around 2 p.m., according to the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse.
However, she is now thought to be nearly 200 miles away, police said, as information indicates that she may be in the West Village area of Manhattan and could be on her way to Sag Harbor.
Nilsen has dementia and may be in need of medical attention.
