Drunk Mom With Toddler In Car Nabbed In Hit-Run At Long Island Children's Museum, Police Say A Long Island mother is facing DWI charges in connection with multiple hit-and-runs that occurred outside a children’s museum with her young daughter present. The incident happened in East Garden City, at the Long Island Children’s Museum on Railroad Avenue, at around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 24. Nassau County Police said Monique Williams, age 35, of East Garden City first struck an unoccupied car in the museum’s parking lot before colliding with an occupied Nissan sedan on Davis Avenue and fleeing the scene. School Bus Crash: 13 Children, Driver Suffer Injuries On Long Island A crash between a school bus and a pickup truck on Long Island sent 13 students and the drivers of both vehicles to the hospital. The crash took place in Nassau County around 3:30 p.m., Monday, May 1 in East Meadow on Old Westbury Road. According to Nassau County Police officers, a 2009 Toyota pickup truck traveling southbound on Old Westbury Road was in a collision with a 2005 school bus in the vicinity of Melanie Drive. The 66-year-old driver of the school bus and 13 of the 41 children on board, ages kindergarten through 5th grade, were transported to a local hospital…
