Mitchell Feig, age 66, of Merrick, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 11, following an investigation by Nassau County Police. Feig owns Max & Gino’s, located in Woodbury on Jericho Turnpike. Detectives said the store had on display several items bearing counterfeit trademarks of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Gucci. Man Dies After Falling Into Water In Merrick A man died after falling into the water on Long Island. Officers responded to 1944 Bayberry Ave. in Merrick for a report of a man who fell into the water, Nassau County Police said.  Upon arrival, officers, with the assistance of several civilians, located the victim and pulled him onto the dock where he was pronounced dead by a Merrick Fire Department Emergency Medical Technician, said police.
