An investigation by the New York State Attorney General’s Office found that South Shore Nissan, in Amityville on Sunrise Highway, and Route 112 Nissan, in Patchogue on Medford Avenue, for years added unnecessary fees or falsified the price of leased vehicles that consumers bought when their lease ended. It happened around 1:55 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 in Patchogue. The Suffolk County Police Department reported that the crash happened in Patchogue at about 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16. SCPD said a 54-year-old Patchogue man was crossing Medford Avenue when he was struck by a 2012 Nissan driven by a 62-year-old Holtsville man.  The 54-year-old was taken to a hospital and listed in critical condition. Long Island Man Used Snapchat To Have Sexual Contact With Two 13-Year-Olds, Police Say A Long Island man was arrested for having sexual contact with two 13-year-olds after meeting them on a messaging app, according to police. Brendan Sullivan, 20, of Bohemia, had sexual contact with the two girls on separate occasions in March and August, Suffolk County Police said. Sullivan used Snapchat to meet his victims, according to police.
