Firefighters in Massapequa responded to a reported house fire at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 9 on Croyden Drive that broke out inside the residence. The home sustained “substantial damage” during the fire, a Nassau County Police Department spokesperson said, though fire crews were able to keep the fire from spreading. Thomas Adamo had last been seen leaving his home on Elm Street in Massapequa at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, according to the Nassau County Police Department. He was driving a gray 2004 Lexus with New York registration number CZD3472, NCPD said. Adamo was reported missing at 11:45 p.m. that day, police said.
