Machete-Wielding Pair Rob Man On Long Island, Search Ensues, Police Say Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating two men who they say robbed a 23-year-old victim, using a machete to threaten him. The incident occurred on Monday, Feb. 12 in Riverhead, according to police. Just before 7:30 p.m. that evening, a 23-year-old Riverhead man was walking north on Doctors Path near the PSE&G building when he noticed the two suspects sitting in a car on the side of the road.
