Hate Crime Investigation Underway After Sign Damaged At Ronkonkoma Mosque A hate crime investigation is underway after police said an ignited device was used to damage a sign at a mosque on Long Island. The sign was damaged on the property of Masjid Fatima Al-Zahra Mosque, located at 55 Lake Shore Road in Ronkonkoma, at about midnight on Monday, July 4, according to a report from the Suffolk County Police Department on Monday, July 25.
