Authorities released new details in a mass shooting outside a New York music venue late on New Year's Day that injured nearly a dozen victims. The shooting occurred in Queens, at the Amazura event venue near 143rd Street and 91st Avenue in Jamaica, at around 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1. The incident happened at approximately 11:10 p.m. between the William Floyd Parkway crossing and the station. Both MTA and local police were dispatched to the scene.
