Motorcyclist Killed In Fiery Crash At Long Island Intersection
A man was killed when a motorcycle burst into flames after crashing into a Jeep at a Long Island intersection.
It happened on Tuesday, April 7 at around 8:21 p.m. in Mastic.
Kristen Conrad, 31, of Manorville, was driving a 2006 Jeep Liberty southbound on Mastic Road, when the vehicle made a left turn onto Eleanor Avenue in the path of two northbound motorcycles, Suffolk County Police said.
The motorcycles were operated by Bernard Lafayette, 31, of Mastic, in front and Walter Mason, 35, of Mastic, behind.

Man Hit, Killed By Car While Walking Along Long Island Roadway
A man walking along a Long Island roadway was killed after being struck by a car overnight.
It happened on Wednesday, Feb. 26 approximately 8:15 p.m. in Shirley.
Vincent Roscigno, 22, of Shirley, was driving a 2018 Hyundai sedan southbound on William Floyd Parkway, on the Sunrise Highway overpass, when the vehicle struck the victim in the roadway.
The victim, identified as Jordon Hubbard, 25, of Shirley, was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead. Roscigno was not injured.

Man Hit By BMW, Shot Behind Row Of Long Island Businesses
Police are investigating an incident during which a man was struck by a vehicle and then shot, leading to school lockouts on Long Island.
According to detectives, the incident took place around 10:20 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11, in Patchogue, said the Suffolk County Police.
During the incident, a 35-year-old man was struck by a BMW and then shot by the driver of the vehicle.
Detectives believe the incident is related to an earlier dispute, police said.
The incident occurred in an alley located off South Ocean Avenue, just south of Main Street.

ID Released For Long Island Man Struck, Killed By Pickup Truck
The identity has been released of a man in a wheelchair who was struck and killed by a pickup truck while he was crossing a busy Long Island intersection.
It happened Monday, Feb. 10 at approximately 8:40 p.m. in Patchogue.
The man, now identified as Harold Ferreri, 62, was crossing Waverly Avenue, approximately 200 feet south of Gateway Boulevard, when he was struck by a 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup being driven by Santiago Diaz of Central Islip.
Ferreri, who was un-domiciled, was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead.
