Woman Found Dead After House Fire Breaks Out In West Babylon A woman died after a house fire overnight on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Tuesday, June 14 in West Babylon at 889 Little East Neck Road, Suffolk County Police said.  After the fire was extinguished, Colleen Jalbert, age 71, was located inside the residence, according to police. The man armed with a knife entered the store in West Babylon, located at 901 Little East Neck Road, on Wednesday, April 27 at approximately 11:20 p.m., and demanded the employee open the cash register, Suffolk County Police said.  The man fled on a bicycle, northbound, on Little East Neck Road, said police. The incident took place around 11:25 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 10 in West Babylon, said the Suffolk County Police. According to police,  officers responded to 1167 Little East Neck Road, after the child slipped and fell through an opening in the window, police said.
