Long Island Expressway Reckless Endangerment: 25-Year-Old Found Covered In Powder, Police Say A 25-year-old has been accused of reckless endangerment and other charges after he was found driving on the Long Island Expressway while covered in powder, police said. On Saturday, July 23 at approximately 9 p.m., Nassau County Police responded to the Long Island Expressway in Plainview on reports that there had been an accident. When they arrived, they saw a 2023 Nissan Altima near Exit 46. Inside, the driver was slumped over the steering wheel with the car still in drive.
