A man has suffered severe injuries after he was hit by a car on Long Island, authorities said. The incident took place in Levittown just before midnight on Thursday, April 27. According to police, the victim, a man approximately 60 years of age, was crossing Hempstead Turnpike going north near Jerusalem Avenue. While crossing, he was struck by a 32-year-old driving a 2013 Nissan Altima traveling west on Hempstead Turnpike. Police Identify FedEx Driver Killed In Long Island Crash
Authorities have identified a 23-year-old FedEx driver who died in a crash on Long Island. Zachary Allen, of Oceanside, was identified as the man who died from his injuries following a crash that occurred in Levittown just after 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, according to an update from the Nassau County Police Department on Thursday, June 16. A man walking along a busy Long Island roadway was seriously injured after being hit by a United States Postal Service vehicle. The incident took place around 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, on Jerusalem Avenue in Levittown, said the Nassau County Police.
