Covid-19: Nassau Bar Requires Proof Of Vaccination For Entry, Saying 'Sorry, Not Sorry'
A Long Island bar has joined a growing list of businesses that have implemented a COVID-19 vaccine requirement.
The Black Sheep Ale House made the announcement on Monday, Aug. 2. The business is located in Mineola.
"From this moment forward, until further notice, The Black Sheep is VAX ONLY. Proof required for entry. Sorry, not sorry," the business wrote in a Facebook post.

The New York State Department of Health and Gov. Andrew Cuomo have made some revisions to guidance for certain businesses as COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations keep increasing.
With hospitalizations up to 5,159, the highest since mid-May, and the positivity rate statewide rapidly climbing, Cuomo announced on Friday, Dec. 11 that some businesses will be rolled back to help curtail the spread of the virus.
As of Monday, Dec. 14, indoor dining in New York City will be closed, though outdoor dining and takeout will still be permitted.

Covid-19: These Businesses Will Stay Completely Closed During Phase 2 Of Four-Phase Reopening
Though many businesses are beginning to ramp back up in New York as all regions outside New York City reached Phase 2 of the state’s reopening plan, some will remain closed for at least two more weeks.
During Phase 2, office-based jobs, real estate, barbershops, salons, and expanded retail services are all permitted to reopen under strict restrictions and guidelines mandated by the state.
