Video: Man Steals Unlocked Car With Child Inside In Suffolk A man stole an unlocked car with a child inside from a parking lot on Long Island, police said. Detectives from the Suffolk County Police Department First Squad are investigating an incident when the man stole the 2007 Acura with an 8-year-old girl inside in Deer Park. Police said a man left the car unlocked with his daughter inside when he went into 7-Eleven on Bay Shore Road at approximately 7:20 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.
