A man has been apprehended after police say he kidnapped his girlfriend on Long Island, drove out of state, and then back to Suffolk County.
Suffolk County Police received a 911 call from a woman saying her adult daughter was being held in a car against her will by her boyfriend on Sunday, March 6 at approximately 11:20 p.m., Suffolk County Police said.
Kenyonne Fleurinay, age 23, carried his 20-year-old girlfriend from a room at America’s Best Value Inn, located in Smithtown, at 755 Smithtown Bypass, and forced her into a 2020 Chevrolet Impala waiting in the parking lot, police said. …
Police Investigation String Of Burglaries At Long Island Businesses
Police detectives are investigating a string of overnight burglaries that occurred at Long Island businesses.
The burglaries happened from Thursday, Sept. 23 to Thursday, Oct. 7 in Suffolk County.
During the "smash-and-grab" burglaries, a man breaks a window or glass door, enters the business, and steals cash, said police.
Suffolk County Police say they occurred at the following locations:
Lemon Tree, located at 411 Furrows Road in Holbrook, on Sept. 23 between 3:30 a.m. and 7:20 a.m.

Man Charged With Dwai After Fleeing From Officer On Long Island, Police Say
A man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after he fled from a police officer in a motor vehicle, leading to a chase overnight on Long Island.
This incident occurred Saturday, Sept. 14 in Shirley, Suffolk County Police said.
A Seventh Precinct patrol officer observed Thomas Celeste, 50, of Mastic, driving a 2002 Ford van erratically on Montauk Highway, west of William Floyd Parkway, at approximately 12:15 a.m., police said.
When the officer initiated a traffic stop, Celeste fled, according to police.
