Guilty Plea For Long Island Man Charged With Fatal Uber Driver Shooting
A Long Island Man accused of shooting and killing an Uber driver in March 2022, as well as participating in a serious hit-and-run the year before, has pleaded guilty to both offenses, officials announced. Shaun Teemer, aged 24 of Long Beach, pleaded guilty to multiple charges for two different incidents on Wednesday, June 14, according to the Nassau County District Attorney. Authorities are investigating an early-morning Long Island hit-and-run crash that injured a 21-year-old trying to cross the street. At approximately 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, June 11, the young victim was attempting to cross Sunrise Highway, walking southbound near Saint Marks Avenue in Bellmore, according to Nassau County Police.
