Man Gets 7 Years For Trafficking Illegal Firearms On Long Island
Years in prison await a man who confessed to selling illegal firearms on Long Island. Kim Lilly, age 45, of Greenville, South Carolina, was sentenced to seven years behind bars in Nassau County Court on Wednesday, Nov. 20, after copping to criminal sale of a firearm and related charges. Prosecutors said Lilly sold 11 illegal firearms in Freeport, including an assault rifle and assault pistol, between August 2023 and January 2024. The gunman in a broad daylight shooting that injured two teenagers outside the New York home of former Rep. Lee Zeldin formally confessed. Long Island resident Noah Green, age 20, of Shirley, pleaded guilty to attempted murder and related charges in Suffolk County Court on Thursday, Sept. 12. Five New Yorkers Among 11 Members Of Heavily Armed Group Involved In I-95 Standoff
Police have identified the heavily armed 10 adults and one juvenile who were apprehended after an hours-long standoff in a wooded area off a busy stretch of Interstate 95 and announced the charges against them. The situation began to unfold in the early morning hours Saturday, July 3 on the stretch of I-95 in Wakefield, Massachusetts, just north of Boston. As a result, I-95 was shut down for several hours.
