Patchogue Man Threatens To Shoot, Blow Up Half Hollow Hills East HS In Dix Hills, Police Say A Long Island resident has been accused of threatening to cause mass harm at a local school. The man called the Half Hollow Hills East High School, located in Dix Hills, on Tuesday, April 9, and threatened to shoot and blow up the school, Suffolk County Police said. Second Precinct Crime Section officers arrested the man near his residence in Patchogue at approximately 3:40 p.m. Thursday, April 11.
