Man Critically Injured In Southern State Parkway Crash Involving Drunk Driver, Police Say A man was hospitalized in critical condition after a two-car crash involving a drunk driver on the Southern State Parkway on Saturday night, May 4, state police said. The crash occurred just before 9 p.m. on the westbound side at Exit 41N, in Islip.  Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2017 Honda Accord with two occupants and a 2011 Toyota Prius, also with two occupants, collided in the right lane, state police said. The collision caused the Honda to overturn and slide on its roof before coming to a stop in the left lane, while the Toyota made a controlled stop on the right…
