Lee Mauras, age 22, originally from Hempstead, was shot at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, in a parking lot in downtown Portland, Oregon, police told local station KATU. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities did not speculate on a possible motive for the shooting. No suspects had been arrested as of Tuesday, Oct. 8. 14-Year-Old Goes Missing From High School On Long Island Police are asking for the community’s help in locating a missing teenager from Long Island. Autumn McDegganlee, age 14, was last seen leaving Freeport High School at around noon on Tuesday, Aug. 13, according to Nassau County Police. McDegganlee is 5-foot-2 and 95 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact Nassau County Police at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
