The automaker is recalling certain 2015 through 2017 Ford Transit vehicles, 2019 Ford Edge vehicles and 2019 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. According to the company, the Ford Transit recall is due to the driveshaft's flexible coupling cracking as wear and tear on the vehicle increases, which may result in noise and vibration. Woman, 21, Struck By SUV Near Long Island Elementary School A 21-year-old woman received minor injuries after being struck by an SUV near an elementary school. The woman was struck about 8:50 p.m., Monday, Sept. 9, by a 2006 Ford Expedition on Broadway Avenue, near Merrimac Elementary School, in Holbrook, said the Suffolk County Police. The female driver was not injured. The victim was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
