Woman Arrested For Prostitution During Long Island Massage Parlor Raid
A woman was arrested for prostitution during a raid at a Long Island massage parlor, police announced.
In response to numerous community complaints, authorities conducted an investigation into Angel Spa, located in Smithtown at 12 Bank Ave., at approximately 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, Suffolk County Police said.
Ji Guoyin, age 46, of Flushing, Queens, was arrested and charged with two counts of prostitution and two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession, a Class E felony under the New York State Education Law.

Six Accused Of Selling Heroin, THC At Five Long Island Stores
Six Long Island men were nabbed during a raid for allegedly selling drugs at smoke shops throughout the region.
The arrests took place around 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, during the execution of a search warrants at five Evolve Smoke Shops in Nassau County.
During the search, large quantities of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) were recovered, along with MDMA, heroin and cash, said the Nassau County Police.

Two women were arrested on alleged prostitution charges after police in Fairfield County served a warrant at an area spa.
The two were arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 9, by the Norwalk Police following a lengthy undercover investigation taking place at the Sunshine Spa, located at 666 Main Ave., in Norwalk, said Lt. Jared Zwickler.

Two women were charged with the felony of unauthorized practice of a profession after multiple complaints were lodged about a Long Island massage parlor, according to police.
Officers raided B & B Retreat Inc., doing business as "SPALAX" on 38 E. Main St. in the village of Babylon at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 1, Suffolk County Police said.
Queens residents Liyu Qian, 40, and Zhouxia Zheng, 52, both of Flushing, were charged with felonies under New York State Education Law.
The village's building inspector also issued multiple code violations, said police.
