An early morning fire spread to several stores on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 in Valley Stream. The blaze broke out at Orange Skye Day Spa, located at 50 Rockaway Ave., according to Nassau County Police. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the roof of the building was engulfed in flames. A fast-moving fire destroyed a Long Island police precinct and injured several firefighters. The fire took place in Woodbury at the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26. According to police, a fire occurred at the Nassau County Police Department’s Second Precinct, located at 7700 Jericho Turnpike. 3 Evacuated From Burning Residential Building In Oceanside
Three occupants of a Long Island residential building were evacuated after a blaze broke out early in the morning. A Nassau County Police officer saw was on routine patrol in Oceanside and saw smoke coming from the corner of a building on Oceanside Road at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, NCPD reported. Police said the officer knocked on the front door of the home and helped the three occupants who were in the process of evacuating.
