Covid-19: Closures Of Barbershops, Salons, Other Services Ordered In NY, NJ, CT, PA
Governors in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania announced new density reduction restrictions to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as part of their uniform, multi-state approach to combating the virus.
The four --New York's Andrew Cuomo, New Jersey's Phil Murphy, Connecticut Ned Lamont and Pennsylvania's Tom Wolf -- have ordered the closures of all barbershops, hair salons, tattoo or piercing parlors, nail salons, hair removal services, and related personal care services.

'This Is A War': With One-Third Of US Covid-19 Cases, Cuomo Says 100K May Need Hospital Care
With New York now having about one-third of cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the nation, Gov. Andrew Cuomo called the battle against the disease "a war" and said more than 100,000 residents in the state may require hospitalization.
"New York's number is high, No. 1, because of our population, our density, etc.," New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in an interview Thursday morning, March 19 on MSNBC. Covid-19: Outbreak Could Peak In 45 Days, Cuomo Predicts
The novel coronavirus outbreak is going to get worse before it gets better, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is cautioning.
Globally, there have been 197,225 confirmed COVID-19 cases of coronavirus, including 5,921 in the United States that resulted in 100 deaths. (See first image above.)
