A man was operating a Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle westbound on Route 25A when he crashed into the side of an eastbound 2017 Toyota Prius as it was turning left onto Oakland Avenue, according to Suffolk County Police. It happened around 3:15 a.m. Friday, July 8 in the village of North Hills in the Town of North Hempstead. Man Killed After Being Struck By Two Vehicles On Long Island Roadway A man was killed after being hit by two vehicles on a Long Island roadway. It happened on Sunday, Feb. 23 at about 9 p.m. in North Patchogue. The man was riding a bicycle on North Ocean Avenue, just north of Vehslage Street, when he was hit by a Nissan SUV driven by Ira Dunne, 42, of Selden, that was traveling northbound, Suffolk County Police said.
