ID Released For Man, 32, Fatally Stabbed Inside Home In Merrick Police have identified a man who was founded stabbed to death over the weekend at a home in Merrick. Evan Grabelsky, 32, of Merrick, was found around 11:44 p.m., Saturday, June 1,  when the Nassau County Police Homicide Squad responded to call for a stabbing victim, said the Nassau County Police. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Grabelsky inside an Elliot Street home with multiple stab wounds, including defense wounds on his arms and hands, police said.
