The identities have been released one woman who was killed and another who suffered critical injuries after a fire on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 5:05 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18 in Plainview at a Senior Living Apartment Complex located at 107 Central Park Road. A fire broke out at a Long Island condominium complex, leaving residents displaced, authorities said. The fire started on Thursday, Dec. 28 in North Hills, according to Nassau County Police. Police are investigating after an envelope with a white powdery substance labeled Anthrax was delivered to a Long Island courthouse. The incident took place in Mineola around 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 3, at the Nassau County Criminal Court located at 262 Old Country Road. According to Nassau County Police, the building was evacuated after the envelope was delivered. The white powdery substance was tested and deemed "non-hazardous." The incident is under investigation. More than 70 residents were evacuated from a Long Island apartment complex when a fire broke out. The incident took place at Great Neck Plaza around 1:45 p.m., Monday, July 25. An LIRR train missed hitting an empty vehicle stopped on the tracks but caused some 80 passengers to take a bus to their destination.
