Jerry Velasquez, of Freeport, was arrested following an incident in Wantagh at 12:10 a.m. on Sunday, March 20, according to the Nassau County Police Department. Long Island Teen Apprehended After Threatening Officers With Knife, Police Say A Long Island teen was apprehended after threatening officers with a knife, police say. Nassau County Police First Precinct Officers responded to a call for a disturbance in Uniondale at 604 Jerusalem Avenue on Wednesday, Oct. 21 just before 8 p.m.  Upon arrival, officers were told that the defendant, Selvin Hernandez-Lopez, 18, of Uniondale, had fled on foot southbound on Amsterdam Avenue.  Officers were able to locate Hernandez-Lopez in the driveway of 612 Amsterdam Ave. where he was involved in a disturbance with two male victims, police said.  Hernandez-Lopez …
