Car Crashes Into Train On Tracks In East Rockaway, Suspending Lirr Service At least one person was injured when a car plowed into a train in East Rockaway, causing a service nightmare for commuters. The crash took place around 3:38 p.m. at Forest Avenue and Rocklyn Avenue, said the Nassau County Police. Police said a driver hit a train, but were still at the scene and did not have much information regarding the extent of injuries.
