A Long Island man has been charged with public lewdness after he was caught on video surveillance at a Walmart exposing his genitals to a woman and child.

A probationary corrections officer was found allegedly smuggling in contraband to a Long Island jail, including a cell phone and a Bible coated in drugs, authorities said.

A man has been charged with alleged assault after becoming violent during a hospital visit and attacking and injuring a police medic on Long Island.
The incident took place around 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 7 in East Meadow, Nassau County Police said.
