It happened around 4:40 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, in East Hampton. An elderly woman was hospitalized as a result of the incident on Old Stone Highway, according to East Hampton Police. The suspect is described as a man wearing a dark-color, hooded sweatshirt. Jefferson D. Eames, age 53, of East Hampton, was driving a 2011 Yamaha motorcycle northbound on Accabone Road when he veered off the roadway and struck a tree, said Lt. Montauk Man Accused Of Growing Marijuana Plants On His Property A 56-year-old Montauk man was nabbed by East Hampton Police for allegedly growing marijuana on his property. Joseph Noll was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 8, after police found marijuana growing on his property on Fleming Road without destroying the plants, East Hampton Police said. When police visited the home they found two potted plants on the north side of his home. He was charged with unlawfully growing cannabis and released on an appearance ticket.
