120 Firefighters From 14 Departments Battle Four-Alarm Long Island House Fire A total of 120 firefighters from 14 departments battled a four-alarm house fire that moved to another structure on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 12:40 p.m., Monday, Feb. 24, in Farmingdale at 490 Secatogue Ave., said Nassau County Police. The fire spread and also caused damage to a residence located on Nelson Street, causing the fourth-alarm to be sounded.
