Adamantios Mathioudis, 41, of East Elmhurst, NY, became the center of the investigation on March 5, when the Fraud and Forgery Unit of the Major Case Squad received reports of two business checks intercepted after being mailed via the U.S. Postal Service, Nassau County police said. Man, 20, Held Woman In Car Against Her Will On Long Island Expressway, Police Say A 20-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a teenage woman reported she was being held against her will inside a car on the Long Island Expressway overnight. A 19-year-old woman called 911 at around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 stating that she was being held against her wishes and gave a description of the vehicle she was in, Nassau County Police said.  Officers observed the vehicle, a black 2019 Honda on the Long Island Expressway at Exit 48 in Plainview and conducted a stop.
