A much beloved and soft-spoken Bard graduate was hit and killed on a Hudson Valley sidewalk hours after commencement. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:30 p.m., Saturday, May 25, on North Broadway (Route 9) in Red Hook. According to Capt. Woman Killed After Crashing Into Tree On Taconic Parkway A 65-year-old woman was killed after losing control of her vehicle in a heavy rainstorm on the Taconic State Parkway.
