Woman Stabs Man In Front Of Child At Long Island Home A Long Island woman was charged with assault after allegedly stabbing a man in the leg during an altercation in front of their 11-month-old child. Diana Alcivar Torres, age 27, of Manorhaven, was arrested on Wednesday, March 29 following the incident on Dunwood Road. According to Nassau County Police Department detectives, around 2:40 p.m., Torres was involved in a verbal argument with a 28-year-old man in the presence of their 11-month-old child.  Torres escalated the argument by grabbing a kitchen knife and stabbing the victim in the right leg, according to polic…
