Health officials are urging New Yorkers to stay up-to-date on their vaccinations as cases of RSV have skyrocketed past cases of the flu and COVID-19. On Wednesday, Nov. 29, the New York State Department of Health urged eligible New Yorkers to get vaccinated against the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). State health officials are crediting new policy changes for a marked decline in tobacco smoking and vaping among adults and teens. Three new reports released by the New York State Department of Health Bureau of Tobacco Control on Thursday, June 1, show that ongoing tobacco control policies are having a positive impact, health officials said.
