A woman was arrested for prostitution during a raid at a Long Island massage parlor.
In response to uniform patrol and community quality of life complaints, authorities conducted an investigation into Red Door Spa in Huntington, located at 454 New York Ave., at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 13.
Following an investigation by Suffolk County Police, Lijiao Chen, age 46, of Flushing, Queens, was arrested and charged with:
Two counts of prostitution,

A Long Island man was arrested after police say he harassed and assaulted a trio based on their national origin.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 30 at 6:45 p.m. in Hicksville, Nassau County Police reported.
The victims, a 19-year-old male, his aunt, and his uncle, were on Woodcrest Road talking when 53-year-old Richard Bauman was driving by in his 2012 Hyundai Sonata.
According to police, Bauman stopped his vehicle near the trio and began to throw food at the teen, unprovoked.

U.S. News & World Report released its annual best states rankings on Tuesday, May 2, and New York came in at -- drumroll, please -- No. 20.

A group of people stole a handful of luxury purses totaling over $20,000, authorities, mirroring an incident that happened only a few days prior, police said.
On Friday, April 27 at around noon, three women and one man entered the East Garden City Louis Vuitton, located at the Roosevelt Field Mall on 630 Old County Road, according to Nassau County Police.
