A missing 2-year-old Long Island boy has been found.
Sherman Roberts Jr. took Dio Palermo, his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son, from the child’s Commack residence, located at 450 Moreland Road, at approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, Suffolk County Police said.
On Sunday, Feb. 14, police announced that they have located Dio Palermo and Sherman Roberts Jr.
Both were unharmed, police said.
Roberts Jr. is in police custody.

Long Island Man Caught Touching Himself In Front Of Naked Child, Police Say
A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly endangering the welfare of a disabled person by touching himself in front of an undressed child.
Nassau County Police arrested Thomas Tana, 60, of Commack, on Tuesday, Nov. 24, in Commack, police said.
According to detectives, around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a 49-year-old man who lives in Westbury went upstairs to check on his 6-year-old learning disabled son and his caretaker, Tana.
When the father opened his son’s bedroom door, he found Tana inappropriately touching himself in front of his undressed son, police said.

New Whole Foods Opens On Long Island
A new Whole Foods Market has opened on Long Island.
The 57,000-square-foot store is in Garden City, located at 867 E. Gate Blvd, and is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.
Its first day of business was Thursday, Nov. 5.
It's the fifth Whole Foods Long Island location, with the others in Commack, Jericho, Lake Grove, and Manhasset.
