Code Enforcement Agent Struck By Angry Driver Over Summons On Long Island: Police A Village of Island Park code enforcement agent was intentionally struck by a driver’s vehicle during a dispute over a summons, Nassau County police announced on Thursday, March 6. Matthew Sullivan, 37, of 77 Waterford Road, was arrested after the violent altercation outside 127 Long Beach Road at 3:19 p.m., according to detectives. Sullivan had been arguing with a 25-year-old code enforcement agent when he got into his vehicle and deliberately hit the agent, police said.
