Here Are Long Island's Primary Election Results There were eight primary elections on Tuesday, June 25 featuring several city, town and county legislative races.  Here are the unofficial results, according to the Boards of Election in Nassau and Suffolk counties: Long Beach  Seven Democrats were running for three seats on the Long Beach City Council. The unofficial winners knocked two incumbents off the Nov. 5 ballot line.
