Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 20-year-old man accused of intentionally striking a Long Island police officer with his car. The incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9, in Lindenhurst, during a confidential police investigation, according to Suffolk County Police. Detectives said Christian Castillo used his car to purposely strike police vehicles and a First Precinct Anti-Crime Unit police officer who was standing outside his vehicle.
