Former Business Owner, Councilman In Northern Westchester Town Dies
A former councilman of a town in Northern Westchester who owned several stores in the area has died.
Joseph Albanese, who lived in Chappaqua and raised his family there, died on Sunday, Jan. 8 at the age of 90, according to his obituary.
Born in Bay Shore, Long Island in 1932, Albanese graduated from Yale University in 1954 and was a track and field letterman. He also served in the Marine Corps from 1951 to 1959, and after graduating from Yale, spent two years in Yokosuka, Japan, and in the Korean War.

Covid-19: Medical Center On Long Island Begins Administering Vaccine To Kids 5 To 11
A medical center on Long Island has begun offering the newly-authorized lower dose COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 5 to 11.
Cohen Children’s Medical Center, located in New Hyde Park, began administering the vaccine, made by Pfizer, on Thursday, Nov. 4, according to an announcement from Northwell Health.

Westchester Financier Who Went Missing While Jogging Found Dead
The body of a missing New York man who disappeared while jogging during a trip to Virginia has been found.
According to Patrick County Sheriff Dan Smith, the body of Bruce Rubin, age 61, of Westchester County, was found around noon on Monday, July 12 off a bluff in the Roaring Creek Gorge in Vesta, Virginia.
Rubin, the chief operating officer, and chief compliance officer of the multibillion-dollar investment firm Westchester Capital Management in Valhalla, was found by sheriff's deputies and Primland Resort employees who had been searching since he was reported missing on Friday, July 2.
