Monthslong Investigation, Warrant Search Leads To Arrest Of Accused Freeport Drug Dealer A 33-year-old suspected drug dealer on Long Island is behind bars after a lengthy investigation led to his arrest. State Police arrested Brian J. Crook of Freeport on Friday, Aug. 9 as part of an ongoing 10-month investigation into cocaine trafficking in the area.  A search warrant was executed at Crook's residence, and troopers seized cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and illegal firearms, including handguns and assault rifles, according to state police.
