It happened just after 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, in Mount Sinai. The victim was driving a black 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle in the wrong direction on southbound Patchogue-Mount Sinai Road, when he collided with a 2022 Honda CR-V at the intersection of Canal Road. According to Suffolk County Police, the motorcyclist then collided with a 2018 Dodge Ram stopped in the westbound turning lane on southbound Patchogue-Mount Sinai Road. 33-Year-Old Killed In Overnight Mount Sinai Crash Police are investigating a fatal overnight crash near an intersection in a residential Long Island neighborhood. It happened just before 1:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30 in Mount Sinai. A 33-year-old man was driving a 2007 Mazda pickup truck westbound on Canal Road when the vehicle left the roadway at Griffin Drive and crashed, Suffolk County Police said. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers issued an alert as they attempt to locate the person or people who stole the statue from Washington Memorial Park on Canal Road in Mount Sinai in November.
