Fatal Crash: 24-Year-Old From Babylon ID'd As Victim In Brightwaters Police are investigating a fatal overnight crash near a Long Island. It happened around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, in Brightwaters. According to Suffolk County Police, the victim was driving a 2018 Jeep westbound on Union Boulevard near Johnson Lane when his vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane, left the roadway, and struck a light pole. Bryant  Dorman, age 24, of Babylon, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead. The man was driving a 2017 Infiniti sedan northbound on Howells Road when the vehicle left the roadway onto the curb and struck a Sunrise Highway overpass, causing the vehicle to burst into flames, Suffolk County Police said. The stickers, which include images of swastikas and the KKK were found on street signs, crosswalks, on local buildings and several signs in town, police said. Investigators were notified and detectives from the Hateful Crimes Unit have launched an investigation.
