Fatal Crash: 24-Year-Old From Babylon ID'd As Victim In Brightwaters Police are investigating a fatal overnight crash near a Long Island. It happened around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, in Brightwaters. According to Suffolk County Police, the victim was driving a 2018 Jeep westbound on Union Boulevard near Johnson Lane when his vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane, left the roadway, and struck a light pole. Bryant  Dorman, age 24, of Babylon, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead. The man was driving a 2017 Infiniti sedan northbound on Howells Road when the vehicle left the roadway onto the curb and struck a Sunrise Highway overpass, causing the vehicle to burst into flames, Suffolk County Police said.
