The incident happened around 4 p.m. Saturday, June 18 on the Piscataqua River, near Little Harbor, about 60 miles north of Boston. Multiple Agencies Race To Scene After Boat Near House Bursts Into Flames On Long Island Multiple fire departments responded to a raging boat fire on Long Island located right next to a house. The incident took place just before 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 27 in Amityville, at 299 S. Ketchum Ave. Once on the scene, firefighters found two boats on fire that were dry-docked next to a house, the Amityville Fire Department said. There was also one burn victim, who was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
