Two Long Island men will spend at least four decades behind bars for shooting a man outside his parent’s home.
Douglas Coudrey, age 26, and Kenneth Regan, age 25, received their sentence of 40 years to life for the murder of Justin Gottlieb on Friday, March 22, the Nassau County District Attorney announced.

Duo Convicted Of 'Senseless' Drive-By Shooting On Long Island
A pair of Long Island men were found guilty by a jury of shooting and killing a young father outside of his parents’ home.
Douglas Coudrey, age 26 of Eastport, and Kenneth Regan, age 25 of Centereach, received their convictions on Tuesday, Feb. 6, according to the Nassau County District Attorney.
The jury deliberated for three hours.
On January 14, 2020, 27-year-old Justin Gottlieb, who was recently engaged and had an infant daughter, was driving home to Plainview from his electrical engineering job in Jericho.

Long Island Duo Charged With Kidnapping, Stalking In Home Invasion
Two Long Island men were arrested four months after allegedly breaking into a New Jersey home and robbing the residents at knifepoint, authorities said.
Law enforcement officials found Ward V. Arnone in Brooklyn and Louis F. Morano in Elmont on Friday, Aug. 14, three days after issuing warrants for their arrests, Bergen Count Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
The pair forced their way into the home and demanded valuable items from the residents on April 17, then fled the scene before police arrived, Musella said.

Two From Suffolk Charged With Killing Nassau Man In Apparent Road-Rage Attack
Two Suffolk County men have been arrested for gunning down a Plainview man as he arrived home following a traffic dispute in an apparent road-rage incident.
Douglas Coudrey, 22, of Eastport, and Kenneth Regan, 21, of Centereach, were arrested on Thursday, Feb. 6, by Nassau County police for the Jan. 14 murder of Justin Gottlieb, 27, of Plainview, said the Nassau County Police.
Coudrey and Regan were already behind bars for the murder and attempted murder of two men just four days later on Saturday, Jan. 18, following another traffic-related incident in New Jersey.
