Fatal Hit-Run Crash: Suspect Nabbed In Suffolk County A Long Island man has been arrested following a months-long investigation into a fatal hit-and-run. Southampton Town Police said Benjamin J. SheenWaltzer, age 32, turned himself in on Friday, Nov. 15, after being linked to a crash on Springville Road in Hampton Bays. The crash on Wednesday, March 6 killed Angel Astimbay, age 67, a resident of Hampton Bays. SheenWaltzer, of Southampton, faces felony charges of: Leaving the scene of an accident with injuries resulting in death, Tampering with physical evidence.
